Saint-Gobain Quartz manufactures and markets Quartzel® PCO silica felt that is used in cartridges that are in turn used in air-treatment systems involving fans and UV laps (to trigger photocatalysis). These systems clean the main pollutants released by industrial operations and by industrial environments (solvents from paint, glue, carpets, laminated coatings, etc.).
