SGS Lightuning® electrochromic glass
Passengers behind SGS Lightuning® electrochromic glass can adjust window tints by simply turning a knob to let more or less light into the vehicle.
Glass, in other words, can change to suit the circumstances: roofs can be invisible when you want to enjoy the view and light, darken when the light is too bright or when privacy is an issue, or anything in between.
Adjusting the level of light that enters a vehicle also significantly controls heat inside – and therefore contributes to the traveller’s comfort. As they are made of laminated glass, these electrochrome roofs are also extremely resistant and thereby deliver unsurpassed occupant safety levels.
Over the past 40 years, glass surfaces on vehicles have doubled in size. Roofs open out onto new panoramic views while meeting all safety and comfort requirements.
