The "Let's insulate the earth against C02" group, in which take part Isover, Saint-Gobain Glass and BPB joined local communities and banks and created a new association, called Effinergie.

Inspired by the Minergie approach of Switzerland and the Passivhaus approach of Austria and Germany, Effinergie intends to gather together building professionals in order to establish a national label by 2007 and actively promote low energy consumption buildings.
