European Research and Innovation Exhibition


For the fourth year in a row, Saint-Gobain is participating in the European Research and Innovation Exhibition to be held from June 5 to 7, at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center, Paris (France).

Housing, Energy and the Environment will be the three areas explored by Saint-Gobain on its 100-sqm booth.

Theory and practical applications will be included in the program, along with numerous conferences and hands-on experiments with insulation, photovoltaic and self-cleaning glass, Woodprotect timber treatment, Techno-Marketing, etc.

COMPETITION OF START-UPS

On Friday, June 6, the booth will also be the venue for a major competition focused on Innovation in Housing: ten European start-ups short-listed by the Nova External Venturing team will present their project in an attempt to win over a panel of experts during a “speed-dating” session. The aim is to match up the ideas and technology developed by the start-ups with Saint-Gobain manufacturing and commercial strengths. The award ceremony will take place on June 6 at 5:45 pm in the Exhibition TV studio.
