Looking like a child’s building block game, one of the largest hotels in Dubai, the Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences, involved numerous Saint-Gobain technical solutions.
Located on the famous Palm Jumeira crescent, this 42-level, 5-star hotel and residential complex, designed by KPF architects, has over 1,000 rooms and serviced residences, a 90-meter long infinity pool, 23 restaurants, water sports and gym facilities sitting on a private beach. Saint-Gobain Weber, Saint-Gobain Gyproc, Vetrotech and KIMMCO-ISOVER were chosen to meet the scale and complexity of the project.
The applications are numerous: repair and installation of the concrete structure, levelling and screeds for floors, installation of acoustic, fire and moisture-resistant partitions, installation of safety and fire protection glass, thermal and acoustic insulation of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) duct systems. Saint-Gobain's technical teams have provided extensive on-site and off-site advice and training to installers to ensure that our solutions are properly installed for optimum results.
