Gypsum activity continues its development in India

Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saint-Gobain, opened the fourth Saint-Gobain Gyproc plant in India. Located in Jhagadia, Gujarat state, it is the country’s largest plasterboard plant with an annual capacity of 30 million square meters.

As the leader of a rapidly expanding market, Saint-Gobain Gyproc aims to continue to promote quality construction systems and to regularly expand its range of environmentally friendly products and solutions designed to maximize acoustic and thermal comfort, indoor air quality and fire resistance.
