Talking with an outlet consultant by text, telephone ordering, remote payment, order collection in under one hour or worksite delivery by cyclists with an e-trailer: La Plateforme du Bâtiment is not short of initiatives to make trades professionals’ lives easier and save them time, in particular because managing work sites in the city center comes with increasingly complex challenges attributable to urban congestion.
La Plateforme du Bâtiment aims to open an outlet in each of Paris’s 20 arrondissements by 2025. To help improve the agility of these renovation trades professionals, this solid coverage will include a delivery service using bikes and an e-trailer able to deliver up to 200 kg in under two hours anywhere in Paris. This means there will be four types of “Plateforme” to provide worksites with the most appropriate service: conventional La Platforme outlets on the outskirts of large cities, La Plateforme Compact at city gateways, La Plateforme City in city centers and La Plateforme Comptoir close to worksites which carry 5,000 products that can be collected in under three minutes.

Thanks to this shared-vision approach informing the company’s development, La Plateforme du Bâtiment introduces at least one new service each year: a text app to contact consultants directly from a worksite, text orders and payments, drive-thru order pick-up or express delivery in under two hours thanks to a fleet of cargo bikes with an e-trailer able to deliver up to 200 kg in city centers.
