Glassolutions Baltiklaas supplied 5,300m² of glass for the façade of the Johanneberg science park opened in 2015 on the Chalmers University campus in Göteborg (Sweden). Designed by the architects White Arkitekter AB, this project received the Glaspriset award recognizing exceptional glass architectural achievements, together with the LEED Gold environmental certification.

Glassolutions Baltiklaas Tartu in Estonia processed and assembled the different glass units. The exterior envelope of the two buildings joined by a walkway is composed of mirrored MIRASTAR glass and enameled SERALIT glass tinted gold and black for a resolutely contemporary design. The CLIMATOP triple glazing units incorporate high energy-efficiency PLANITHERM ONE that guarantees insulation and luminosity, and tempered SECURIT glass that ensures safety in the event of breakage.

Glassolutions provided the installer Metus-EST and the construction contractor Skanska Sverige AB with glazing solutions adapted to meet high environmental quality requirements.

Dedicated to research and innovation, the science park now hosts over 8,200m² a reception area, a restaurant and large conference rooms.
