Saint-Gobain aiming high in Slovakia

Several of our materials are used in Nivy Tower. It is the tallest building in Bratislava and a symbol of the country’s transformation and rapid growth.

In addition to its 125-meter height, making it the tallest building in Bratislava (Slovakia), Nivy Tower is also notable for its architectural design. Its glass façade mixes several styles creating a subtle optical effect.

To achieve this, Saint-Gobain supplied two different types of glazed combining product from the COOL-LITE range with PLANITHERM or ECLAZ products.

The 19,000 sq. m of glazing installed have excellent thermal insulation properties and contribute to the energy efficiency of this building, which has received BREEAM and WELL certification. The 29-storey tower also uses solutions supplied by Rigips (interior partitions and acoustic insulation), ISOVER (thermal insulation for the partitions and technical insulation) and Weber. Nivy Tower seeks to be both sustainable, comfortable – thanks to a system that filters out 90% of atmospheric pollutants –  and very modern, with the fastest elevators in Slovakia!
