Saint-Gobain named Top Employer Global for the third consecutive year

For the third year in a row, Saint-Gobain has been certified Top Employer Global. It is one of 13 companies worldwide to have received this certification label. The Top Employer Institute, an independent organization that awards this label, referred specifically to the openness and mobility between the company’s businesses, HR innovation, the Group’s learning organization and Saint-Gobain’s Attitudes*. This year, 31 countries in which Saint-Gobain operates were labeled, three more than in 2017. The Group also saw its certifications “Top Employer Europe”, “Top Employer North America” and “Top Employer Asia-Pacific” renewed, and was also awarded the “Latin America” certification for the first time.

The Top Employers Institute awards the Top Employer Global label to companies that it has certified in at least 20 countries and on several continents. Six hundred working condition practices and indicators have been audited for each of the 31 countries certified, namely: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States.

“The Top Employer certification is recognition of the commitment of Saint-Gobain and our managers worldwide to developing their teams, attracting and cultivating talented individuals and opening up the field of possibilities,” said Claire Pedini, Senior Vice President in charge of Human Resources, Saint-Gobain.

* The five Saint-Gobain Attitudes that all Group employees adopt are: Cultivate customer intimacy, Act as an entrepreneur, Innovate, Be agile and Build an open and engaging culture.
