Weber and the artist

The Weber site in Servas (France) has been hosting an artist-in-residence, Jérémy Gobé, who creates his works in mortar with the assistance of the production and R&D teams. A unique collaboration...

Collaborating closely with Weber’s production and R&D teams, Jérémy Gobé was keen to develop a project involving all the employees at the Servas site.

From design to production of the works, the Weber teams assisted the artist and were involved in every stage of the project, from the choice of materials, to technical studies and the embossing process. Inspired by the shape of the Weber logo, the Témoins (Witnesses) works, created using mortar with a reduced environmental footprint, will be on display until January 5, 2020, at the Royal Monastery of Brou in Bourg-en-Bresse, France, while the 250 sq. m monumental embossed work can be viewed at the Bullukian Foundation as part of the Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale, France.
