The fourth episode of the “I PHYZ GOOD” series about natural light has been broadcasted on the String Theory YouTube scientific channel on January 12, 2017. The episode shows David Louapre, a research scientist in physics at Saint-Gobain, explaining the importance of natural light to humans and how technology enables us to control natural light and improve the comfort level within our habitats. It was filmed at the Paris School of Fine Arts and at the Domolab, Saint-Gobain’s innovation center for sustainable habitat based in Aubervilliers situated on the outskirts of Paris.

The third episode of the “I PHYZ GOOD” series about thermal inertia has been broadcasted on the String Theory YouTube scientific channel on December 15, 2016. The episode shows David Louapre, a research scientist in physics at Saint-Gobain, explaining how bulk or phase change materials delay temperature changes, a phenomenon that can be observed in troglodyte dwellings and caves. It was filmed at the gypsum quarry of Montmorency and at the Domolab, Saint-Gobain’s innovation center for sustainable habitat based in Aubervilliers, both situated on the outskirts of Paris.
