The V.I.E program is for young Europeans aged 18 to 28, graduates motivated by a first professional experience abroad.
Applicants must not have already held a paid position (internship, apprenticeship, employment) in the target country, and must have a clean criminal record.
If you’re eager to learn, discover, and contribute to real projects—go for it!
Between 6 and 24 months maximum, depending on the country and assignment, with the option to extend within that limit. At Saint-Gobain, missions typically last from 12 to 24 months.
Yes, you can indicate your preferences! We are present in 80 countries.
However, placement also depends on available opportunities and local needs.
Yes, of course! The V.I.E program provides compensation based on the host country, with an allowance set by Business France. You are also covered by comprehensive social protection.
You are welcomed by local teams and supported from day one. A mentor helps you settle in and understand the projects and daily life within the Group.
Many of our V.I.E participants continue their journey with us, whether in France or abroad. More than 1 in 2 remain within the Group. For many, the V.I.E is the first milestone of a great career at Saint-Gobain!
