Blueway by PAM, the low-emission transport service

In France, Saint-Gobain PAM Pipes is taking action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its transport operations and, for its customers who want to reduce their carbon footprint, offers them the Blueway by PAM low-emission transport service.

Blueway by PAM, l'offre de transport à faibles émissions

Transportation accounts for a significant portion of our greenhouse gas emissions. In response, Saint-Gobain PAM Pipes has created a low-emission transport service: Blueway by PAM.

In France, Blueway by PAM is based on trucks running on hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), a biofuel made from the reprocessing of waste (cooking oil, waste oil, etc.). As a result of the circular economy, HVO does not compete with food production and reduces CO2 emissions by over 83%*.

Thus, customers who want to reduce their carbon footprint can opt for the Blueway by PAM offer to deliver their projects. They also receive a certificate quantifying the tons of CO2 not emitted and the percentage of CO2 reduction compared to diesel transport. This will allow our customers to demonstrate their strong commitment to reducing their carbon footprint.

Blueway by PAM is part of the Group’s commitment to providing its customers with solutions that help them reduce their environmental impact.
