The Louvre Pyramid turns 30

For the 30th anniversary of the Louvre Pyramid, one of the most famous of Saint-Gobain achievements, the Group has formed an original partnership with the Louvre Museum. Saint-Gobain has created a series of objects called, Les 793 éclats (The 793 shards), using the carefully stored stock of glass specially designed for the Louvre Pyramid. At the time, it took two years of research to develop it. Why 793? Because it is the number of lozenges and triangles that make up the Pyramid. The very limited series of 793 shards will be released for sale on March 29 in the Louvre Museum’s physical and online stores.
