PAM plays its part in electric mobility!

By supplying fire-protection solutions for a future electric battery production plant in northern France, Saint-Gobain PAM Canalisation is contributing to a low-carbon construction site and setting an example with its Blueway low-emission transport offer.

PAM engagé au service de la mobilité électrique ! PAM engagé au service de la mobilité électrique !

The teams at Saint-Gobain PAM Canalisation have started delivering NATURAL pipes to the construction site of a factory located in the heart of Bourbourg, in northern France. It will produce electric battery cells and is drawing on the expertise of PAM Canalisation to create its fire protection system.

Deliveries to this large-scale construction site, managed in partnership with EHTP, will take place through the Blueway offer. This low-emission transport solution, using second-generation biofuels made from waste reprocessing, will provide an 83% reduction in CO2 emissions (certified by ADEME, the French Agency for Ecological Transition) during transport from production plants in Lorraine to the site.

The Dunkirk urban community won the call for proposals on “Low-Carbon Industrial Zones”, and is proud to partner with Saint-Gobain PAM Canalisation to contribute to the development of electric mobility in the Hauts-de-France region.
