 Saint-Gobain Board of Directors decides to propose the renewal of the directorship of Pierre-André de Chalendar 

  In preparation for the next Shareholders' General Meeting, on June 5, 2014, and based on the recommendation of the Appointments, Compensation and Governance Committee[1], the Compagnie de Saint-Gobain Board of Directors, meeting today, decided to propose the renewal of the directorship of Pierre-André de Chalendar for another four years. If the Shareholders' General Meeting approves the renewal, the Board of Directors intends to reappoint Pierre-André de Chalendar as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain. By this decision, the Board of Directors has renewed its trust in the ability of Pierre‑André de Chalendar and the management team to lead the Group in the next stages of its development. "I am extremely honoured by the Board of Directors’ renewed confidence.
