Singapore is innovating with construction 2.0

Transforming construction into a model of efficiency and sustainability: that’s the aim of a partnership with Chinese start-up DaFang AI in Singapore. A collaboration that could revolutionize the industry with cutting-edge robotic solutions.

With their unrivalled precision and efficiency, robots have the potential to revolutionize construction. That’s why the Saint-Gobain teams in Singapore have established a partnership (memorandum of understanding) with Chinese start up DaFang AI in the field of wall finishing.

DaFang AI is well known in Asia for its high-performance robots that can grind, sand, plaster and paint on building sites. Combining the startup’s innovation with Saint-Gobain’s expertise promises to transform traditional construction methods, increase efficiency on the building site, and reduce costs and lead times.

The use of smart robots also provides precise control over the quantities of materials used, to avoid waste and help make construction even more sustainable. This strategic agreement in Singapore could also address the shortage of construction workers.
