Taking advantage of the launch of the “Act4nature” initiative in France, the Group has unveiled its new biodiversity policy, which reflects its commitment to protecting, restoring, encouraging and promoting biodiversity, by involving all stakeholders.

Taking advantage of the launch of the “Act4nature” initiative in France, the Group has unveiled its new biodiversity policy, which reflects its commitment to protecting, restoring, encouraging and promoting biodiversity, by involving all stakeholders.

“Through our extractive businesses, gypsum in particular, we have acquired extensive expertise, which has given us a deeper understanding of all aspects of biodiversity across our value chain,” explained Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saint-Gobain. Local action plans, currently under development, will provide tangible support for the Group’s involvement at the international level.
