Facades to suit every European market

With EnveoVent, Saint-Gobain is deploying a sales strategy that offers high-performance facade solutions adapted to local conditions. From the UK to Norway, from France to Spain, each market benefits from an enhanced offer perfectly adapted to its specific constraints.

Des façades qui s’adaptent à chaque marché européen

The European construction market presents very contrasting realities: a need for mass construction in the UK, extreme climate in Norway, energy efficiency in Spain, and so on. Faced with these diverse issues, the EnveoVent range of modular high-performance facade systems adapts to the regulatory and climatic constraints of each country. This approach perfectly illustrates the Group’s ability to transform its technical expertise into commercial solutions that are appropriate for each national market.

UK: meeting the urgent need for construction

The UK has set itself the ambitious target of building 1.5 million new homes in five years. Saint-Gobain has thus adapted EnveoVent to suit the UK market, with a complete prefabricated wall system. This solution speeds up construction times, while already exceeding the requirements of the Future Homes Standard. This simultaneously meets the challenges of energy efficiency and productivity.

France: productivity and space optimization

In France, tougher environmental standards and the need to boost productivity on building sites have led to the development of two complementary solutions. EnveoVent Chrono, a masonry cladding system, saves craftsmen up to 30% in installation time by halving the number of brackets to be attached. EnveoVent Duo is aimed at the lightweight structures market, with a gain in living space of up to 4%, a valuable asset in the French real estate market where every square meter counts.

Norway: withstanding extreme climate conditions

The Norwegian climate, particularly humid and exposed to the elements, led Saint-Gobain to develop a specific technical response with EnveoVent Flex and EnveoVent Robust. These systems incorporate an innovative waterproof board made of expanded glass and fiberglass. This waterproofing system works like a “Gore-Tex coat” for the building, providing effective protection against driving rain and moisture infiltration, while offering ergonomic benefits for fitters and exceptional durability.

Spain: lightweight and efficient construction

In Spain, the search for construction efficiency has led to the extension of the Enveo range to include three complementary solutions. EnveoVent Integra is designed for ventilated facades, EnveoRend Integra offers a crack-resistant mortar finish, while EnveoTherm Integra reduces the weight compared with traditional facades. All share a lightweight, dry construction design that speeds up work on the building site and improves thermal performance.

Strategic expansion across Europe

The success of EnveoVent is not limited to these four markets. The Group has launched EnveoTherm, its External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS), in 11 Central and Eastern European countries, reinforcing its position as leader in façade insulation solutions. With almost 400 color shades and two render textures to suit all architectural projects, BIM compatibility and certified high-quality components, EnveoTherm demonstrates how Saint-Gobain combines technical standardization with local customization. In this region, the first major project has already seen the light of day in Albania, with 18,000 m² of facades for a high-end resort.

EnveoVent thus embodies Saint-Gobain’s ability to provide each national market with a range of solutions that best meet its customers’ needs throughout the construction value chain and transform specific local requirements into opportunities for sustainable growth.
