PAM on the Notre-Dame Cathedral work site
Using its solutions and expertise, Saint-Gobain PAM has helped secure the fire protection system on the Notre-Dame Cathedral work site in Paris. A collaboration that is a great source of pride for the teams.

Following a call for tenders issued by the "Eau de Paris" water authority, the public institution and contracting authority "Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris" (Rebuild Notre-Dame de Paris), awarded the contract to secure the cathedral's fire protection network to a consortium of companies. They, in turn selected Saint-Gobain PAM's DN300 ductile cast-iron pipes for their maximum durability.
Delivered to the central Paris work site by trucks running on HVO biofuel, as part of the Blueway offer, which reduces transport-related CO2 emissions by 83% (certified by the French environment agency, ADEME), they will be installed in three separated steps.

The teams, especially sales and supply chain, took part in this emblematic project, and shared the pride of having put their know-how to work on the reconstruction of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
