Creative façade in Libreville

In Gabon, Glassolutions has contributed to a second project in Africa with COOL-LITE XTREME glazing and the first using the SWISSPACER solution.

Over 600 m2 of double-glazing arrived in the port of Libreville, the Gabonese capital, from Glassolutions Covipor in Portugal for the façade of a new building for BGFI Bank, the country’s leading bank.

The solution adopted for this project uses the latest-generation of coated glass called COOL-LITE XTREME 50/22 combined with the SWISSPACER brand warm edge spacer bars. COOL-LITE XTREME 50/22 has a triple coating of silver providing it with one of the best selectivity levels on the market. Double-glazing assembled in this way delivers enhanced thermal insulation and significantly reduces the need for air conditioning. Some of the double-glazing has been combined with STADIP PROTECT 615 because of the security protection it provides.
