Latest Saint-Gobain Glass achievements dedicated to facades
Discover Saint-Gobain Glass' new 2022 reference book "GLASS FOR FACADE", highlighting our most innovative façade solutions with a selection of iconic architectural projects from all around the world.
Through these extraordinary projects, we wish to bring to light the know-how of our customers and partners and the way they showcase our best performing glass products as well as many other Saint-Gobain products.
As sustainable development is at the heart of our strategy, we added a chapter dedicated to our innovations in sustainability.
We did a lot to innovate in 2022 with:
- the launch of ORAÉ®, the glass with the lowest carbon footprint in the world, with a verified EPD and FDES, making it possible, through a range of glazings dedicated to the façade market, to reduce both the embodied carbon footprint and the operational carbon for architectural projects,
- the setting up of the Saint-Gobain Glass Recycling network in several countries to improve our cullet collection and rethink the end-of-life of our glazing,
- the introduction of an offer of photovoltaic solutions for facades,
- the development of anti-collision glazing solutions (4BIRD®) designed to protect birds without compromising the building's technical and aesthetic performance.
